Just thought I'd post on here and saw what you guys thought. I should just invest a couple bucks in getting a wireless card with 5g. Something tells me it "could" work but might get a little hairy. I was wondering if it would be a good idea to see if I can get a 1 male/2female USB splitter so I could try charging and tethering at the same time.

USB tethering it would mean that I would always need my PC on in order for the hotspot to work which I don't usually do.
I did try USB tethering it and I did get the same speeds I was getting on my phone. I've noticed that I can get almost as much as 2 times faster download speeds running speed tests on my phone instead of my computer as my phone has 5g and my comp is connected with 2.4. It is a 100% unlimited hotspot with no throttling and I can about 38mbps down in my house. I'm in a very unique situation where I'll be relying on a hot spot for a good amount of time.
